
An initiative aimed at individual and team development for the board in helping them meet current challenges short term and achieve the 5 year strategic plan successfully.
Coaching for all executives was carried out within the same time frame so that useful learning could be spread within the team and this could be reinforced with a series of Board coaching events for the whole team. Coaching was supported by psychometric testing and personalized 360* feedback from inside and outside the Trust.
A coaching climate was built and grown within the team and this would increase support for each member in facing the new challenges. This concept of sustainability adds great value to the Acute Trust in continuing to grow and develop after the actual intervention was completed in November 2010.
Current indications are that Executive and Board coaching has made a significant difference and this will be evaluated by comparison with data from the Impact of Coaching Questionnaire (ICQ), developed specifically by Orcni.
